Trim type has door block to get no hole installation.

Differences: Only differences on strips and trim are the cost, looks and installation. All features are the same. Trim type is a replacement installation of original panel while the strips type need to keep OEM panels.

GL/ML/GLE/GLS Ambient Leds Features

① Warning Active System. The ambient lighting kit is not only good looking, but also get you a safer drive. It will indicate some car information, for example, any door is opened, the dedicated door leds blinks to remind you. And the lighting will blink when the car in reverse. Blinking colors can be red, blue, yellow and some others that is an obvious showing. 

② OEM Screen Control. It keeps original menu control ambient if the screen has ambient menu. If the car system has the ambient menu after coding, it can do screen control as well.
